Cole Hamels Leaves Camp
Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels leaves camp to get elbow examined in Philadelphia. Hamels has a history of elbow problems so this could be a major concern for the Phillies. The team has been cautious this spring training with Hamels after he pitched 265-plus innings, including playoffs.
Astros Talking to Pudge
Astros are interested in signing veteran catcher Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez. Rodiguez has used the World Baseball Classic to show organizations he can still play at the highest level. He has a great chance to become the Astros starting catcher as Humberto Quintero is atop the depth chart.
